Geocache Kids Adventures are outdoor games similar to the Amazing Race or Treasure Hunters. Unlike the Amazing Race or Treasure Hunters where only one team wins, in these adventures all teams succeed. Players are divided into teams and compete against the course, not other teams. Everyone leaves a winner.

What is Geocache?
Geocache is an outdoor adventure for GPS and compass users. Adventures begin at Basecamp 1, where players are divided into teams and receive materials and instructions for their adventure.

Teams then navigate their way to Basecamp 2, where they are given coordinates to the first cache. Players then use their new navigation skills to find hidden caches. Each adventure has 6 different caches to find and the adventure ends with a group activity at Basecamp 2.

What’s in a Cache?
A cache may have a variety of items to collect or an activity to do — like build a birdhouse. Players may have to solve a riddle or puzzle or complete a task.

Explore the wonders of wildlife, perhaps spotting a Ring-necked pheasant or a migrating Monarch butterfly. Meet new friends, learn new skills and gain confidence in these challenging, fun adventures.
